JoAnna and Jason Jarvis | October 27, 2013| Photography by Sam Stroud Photography
JoAnna Sturgis and Jason Jarvis both shared an interest in photography while they worked for Canon in Chesapeake and they would later realize they also shared an interest in each other. Jason proposed JoAnna on their weekend getaway to The Greenbrier resort in West Virgina. In the middle of the couple's carriage ride Jason got on one knee as he popped the question and took JoAnna by complete surprise. The couple held a wedding that captured their personalities and tastes with a color scheme of gold and yellow, mint, grey, black and ivory. Decor for the day included large pom pom balls made out of moss as paper flowers hung from the trees that lined the brick aisle to the gazebo.
