Dennis & Ania Kunkel | June 22, 2014 | Photography by Noah Magnifico
Dennis and Ania can say they really are the perfect match since they met on match.com in 2013. Ania says she knew from their second day of dating that they would get married, and Dennis made that dream of hers come true. Being a true romantic, Dennis waited for the perfect moment to propose after buying the ring a month earlier. One night, the two were talking in Ania's car after a church event when Dennis leaned toward her and reached under her driver's seat. He had been hiding the ring there all along, and it was finally time to surprise her! He chose the ring very carefully to perfectly embody there relationship. The ring has three stones- one on each side to signify Dennis and his children as well as Ania and hers and a middle stone to signify the combined family. They chose a modern Victorian theme for their wedding which was held in an old, vintage barn. Dennis's favorite moment of the day was watching his beautiful bride walk down the aisle to the song "I Can Only Imagine." It was important to incorporate their families into the wedding as much as possible. The couple involved their children into all aspects of the wedding, such as the lighting of the unity candle which was Ania's favorite moment. Even the food was family themed. Dennis's mother baked the wedding cake, which was the first three-tier wedding cake she'd ever made that looked and tasted good. The guests' favors contained personalized jars of Polish candy since Ania's family is from Poland. Another very unique touch was their wedding date of June 22, because their first date was at a restaurant called 622 North.
