The Jennings Wedding | October 15, 2016 | Photography by: Matthew Thwing Photography
Todd and Tatiana ("Tigger") met through mutual friends when they were only teenagers. Fast forward to a few years later as they made their way to a Washington Capitals game, where Todd stole a few moments for them to stop by a beautiful field with pond and country backdrop. It was there Todd proposed.
Tigger and Todd wanted a country theme for the day, with a burgundy and ivory color palette. The bridesmaids wore cowboy boots while the groomsmen donned cream suits and burgundy ties to match the groom's burgundy vest. Their day turned out with beautiful weather, staring with Tigger and her best girls celebrating during the morning in their matching robes. A 1952 Ford pickup truck drove them to the ceremony and venue, while the couple was married beneath a flower-filled arch under sunshine. Decor included large picture displays and guests took home fresh jars of homemade apple butter as favors. One of Tigger's favorite memories is Todd smashing cake in her face! She adds she also loved their private dance as newlyweds; the two were able to reflect on their day and spend a quiet moment together in celebration.
