Wedding Wednesday: The Honeycutt Wedding

Lindsay & Whittany Honeycutt | June 21, 2013 | Photography by Winterberry Gallery

Thanks to their exercise regimen, Whittany and Lindsey met at their fitness center; a month after sparking conversation, Lindsay took Whittany on their first date to an MMA fight. On New Year's Eve 2011, Lindsay put off dinner by taking Whittany into the nearby jewelry store, where only the men's wedding bands were on display. After about half an hour, Whittany finally noticed THE engagement ring in the center of the display - HER ring! Lindsay proposed in the store; they celebrated with friends and family at dinner afterwards. Whittany's favorite wedding memory was the ceremony, where she and her future husband saw each other for the first time knowing that day forward would bind them forever. Lindsay also says that was his favorite moment: "I have never felt a feeling so strong - my love for my wife is strong than anyone will ever know." Vows were also special, with the commitment to one another in front of friends, family, and God. A purple and gray color scheme lent to a modern but classic affair, especially with gray tuxes for the groomsmen. Centerpieces were vintage white milk vases with baby's breath and hydrangeas; the ceremony aisle was lined with white hydrangeas pomander, curly willow branches, and ribbon. Guests had favors from the fully loaded candy bar and also enjoyed an orange dreamsicle wedding cake. Lindsay and Whittany enjoyed their honeymoon with a five day cruise to the Bahamas.
