The Hall Wedding | January 27, 2018 | Photography by: Amber Perdue Photography
Brandon Hall and Sarai Tucker met on Tinder after Sarai had graduated from nursing school, and the two clicked immediately, going on their first date and becoming official all within two months. In September of 2017, while on a vacation to Sweden and Croatia, the two were on a walk along a waterfront after dinner. Brandon suggested that they take a few photos, and while Sarai was smiling at the camera, Brandon knelt down and asked her to marry him. After checking (about 5 times!) that he was serious, she said yes, in a moment that was "beautiful, magical and unforgettable."
Brandon and Sarai chose to keep their wedding intimate, without all of the frills. Forgoing bridesmaids, groomsmen, arranged seating, a first dance and the bouquet toss, the couple's special day was laid-back and focused on the couple's love for each other and the love for their families. The ceremony was especially meaningful to Sarai, because after her parents walked her down the aisle to "I Get to Love You," Sarai exchanged both traditional and personalized vows with Brandon in front of the people closest to her. Choosing cookies in place of a big wedding cake, and Christmas ornaments for the guests to sign instead of a guest book, the couple made sure that their wedding reflected their fun relationship. The couple exchanged gifts before the wedding as well, in what Sarai calls "an emotional moment that I will forever treasure." The intimacy and unique nature of Sarai and Brandon's celebration was made special by the overwhelming love and support from their closest friends and family, who all joined in to help the couple begin their lives together as husband and wife.
